Giulia Fassari
Singer and musician since childhood. She began studying pop and jazz music at the age of 14 with teacher Edi Valastro. She obtained a three-year degree in jazz singing at the V. Bellini Institute in Catania and became interested in various musical genres such as blues, R&B, soul, folk and popular music from Eastern Europe, Asia, Africa and African percussion, singing in various groups and performing around Sicily. She has taken part in masterclasses with musicians such as Daniela Spalletta, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Dave Kikoski, Paola Munda and Dino Rubino.
She took part as a chorister in the summer tour in Sicily of Machan Taylor, former Pink Floyd chorister, and in a masterclass of experimental theatre with Vittorio Vaccaro at Viagrande Studios (CT).
In 2019 she joined SeiOttavi, a renowned vocal group in western Sicily, and Jacarànda, Piccola Orchestra Giovanile dell'Etna.
